Laboratory Technician Grade - II

District-wise: OBC - Idukki - 01 (One)

Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the OBC community of Kerala State only). Note: Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the OBC community will be rejected without any notice.

18-39, Candidates must be born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). [Including relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions]. Note: Under no circumstances, the upper age limit shall exceed 50 years.

A) General: (i) Pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with 'B' Grade or not less than 50% marks in Science subjects. 5% marks relaxation is allowed for socially and educationally backward classes as per G.O(P)No.208/66/PD dated 21.05.1966 and subsequent amendments. (ii) Ex-servicemen who have served in the Armed Forces for not less than 15 years and have passed Class-I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test are eligible. B) Technical: Must have passed one year Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course conducted by Medical Colleges in Kerala or Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or equivalent qualification. Note: (i) Candidates with Science Degree course are exempted from the 'B' Grade requirement for Pre-Degree. (ii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable for this selection.

1. The rank list prepared as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the OBC community that remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates in the previous rank list (Category No. 406/2009, Idukki, dated 06/03/2014). 2. Candidates must apply only to the district where the vacancy is reported for their community. 3. This is the second NCA notification as no qualified candidates were available for the first NCA notification (Category No. 637/2017). 4. Selection is district-wise as per G.O(MS) 154/71/PD dated 27.05.71. Candidates appointed cannot be transferred to another district for 5 years. 5. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31/12/2012. For new registrations, the photo must be taken within 6 months. 6. Aadhaar card must be provided as identity proof in the profile. 7. If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. 8. Candidates must produce the Gazette notification regarding any change in caste/community name if it differs from the SSLC book during certificate verification. 9. Any false claims regarding qualifications will lead to disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976.
