Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (From among the members of the reservation communities mentioned above only). Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those included in this notification will be summarily rejected without intimation.
Age Limit
18-39. Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxations as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note: For conversions from Scheduled Caste to Christianity and their children, upper age limit is relaxed up to 41 years. Such candidates should be born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please refer to Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions, except para 2(i)).
Qualifications
A) General:- (i) A Pass in Pre-Degree examination with Science subjects or 50% marks in Science subjects. (5% marks relaxation will be allowed to backward communities as per G.O(P)No.208/66/PD dated 21.05.1966 and subsequent amendments). (ii) Ex-servicemen who have not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces and who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test or Ayur Ex-servicemen possessing SSLC or equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply. B) Technical:- Successful completion of One year Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala or Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or equivalent qualification. Note: (i) 'B' Grade is not compulsory for Pre-Degree for those who have completed Science Degree course. (ii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
Notes
Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' through the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) before applying. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile using their User ID and Password. Applications submitted through print out/soft copy of online application will not be accepted. Photo uploaded should be taken on or after 31/12/2013. Name of the candidate and date of photograph taken should be printed legibly on the photograph. No application fee is required. Candidates must provide Aadhaar Card as ID proof in their profile. Confirmation for writing examination must be submitted through One Time Registration profile. Written/OMR/Online test will be conducted. Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of Gazette Notification.
