Direct Recruitment.

18-36. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included).

(i) Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary (Medical Laboratory Technician) course. OR Pass in Plus Two or equivalent examination with Science subjects. (ii) Pass in Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology course conducted by Medical Colleges in Kerala or equivalent qualification.

(i) A separate rank list will be prepared for each district. The rank list will be valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. If a new rank list is published before the expiry of the current one, the current list will cease to be valid. Vacancies reported during the validity of the rank list will be filled from the list. (ii) Selection is district-wise as per G.O.(MS) 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates appointed in one district cannot transfer to another district for five years. After five years, transfers are subject to G.O.(MS) 4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in government service in the same post in any district are not eligible to apply for this notification. (iii) Candidates must apply to any one district and specify the district name in the online application. Applying for more than one district will lead to rejection of all applications. - Reservation benefits for SC/ST/OBC candidates are applicable. - Upper age limit relaxation is applicable as per Part II, General Conditions, Clause 2 of the notification. - 4% reservation for differently-abled candidates (Deaf/Hard of hearing, Locomotor Disability, Autism, etc.) as per G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. - Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2013 with name and date clearly marked. - Aadhaar card is mandatory as an identity document. - Candidates must confirm their participation for exams through their profile to receive admission tickets.
