18-36, Candidates should be born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Part 2 of the General Conditions).

(a) Must have passed Pre-Degree / Pre-University examination with Science subjects from any recognized University or equivalent qualification. (b) Must have passed Medical Laboratory Technician course conducted by Medical Colleges in the State.

1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of the qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification will be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification. 3. In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard along with Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 4. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2012. For profiles created from 01.01.2022, a photo taken within 6 months must be uploaded. The name of the candidate and the date of taking the photo should be clearly printed at the bottom of the photo. 5. No application fee is required. 6. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. 7. If a written/OMR/Online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation can download the admission ticket. 8. Candidates who submit false claims regarding education, experience, etc., and fail to appear for the exam after confirming, will be subject to disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure, Rule 22. 9. Candidates having Aadhar card should provide it as an identity document in their profile.
