Age Limit
18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. SC/ST and other backward communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, subject to the special benefits provided in Part II of the General Conditions of this notification.
Qualifications
1. General:- Pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in Science subjects or 'B' Grade. Ex-servicemen who have completed 15 years of service in the Armed Forces and have passed Class-I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test are eligible to apply even if they have only SSLC or equivalent qualification. 2. Technical:- Must have passed Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma course conducted by any of the Medical Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or equivalent qualification.
Notes
i) 10% marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 5% for other backward communities in Pre-Degree. ii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable for selection. iii) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. iv) Candidates must apply to the district specified in the notification and mention the district name in the online application. v) In case of discrepancy in caste/community in SSLC book, candidates must produce original caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate, and gazette notification regarding the change at the time of OTR verification. vi) Candidates already in government service in the same department in any district are not eligible to apply, but can apply for higher posts. vii) Candidates must provide Aadhaar card as identity proof in their profile. viii) Candidates must provide confirmation for OMR/Online exams through their profile to get admission tickets.
