1. Definition of Services

By accessing or using PSC Buddy (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. For the purposes of these Terms, “Services” refers collectively to the PSC Buddy website (pscbuddy.in), mobile applications, mock tests, revision notes, question banks, AI-powered features, notifications, analytics, and any other educational tools or services we make available.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are under the applicable legal age, you may only use the Services under the active supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

3. Privacy Policy Reference

Your use of PSC Buddy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, test performance analytics, and notification preferences.

4. Educational Purpose and Independence

PSC Buddy is an independent educational platform built solely for candidate preparation and study assistance for competitive examinations in Kerala.

5. No Guarantee of Results

While PSC Buddy provides comprehensive study tools, practice questions, and analytics, the use of our Services does not guarantee success, passing scores, rank placement, or selection in any examination, recruitment process, interview, or appointment conducted by Kerala PSC or any other authority.

6. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws. You specifically agree not to:

• Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated tools to access, copy, or extract platform data without our prior written permission.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, hack, or introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code to the platform.
• Share user accounts, bypass authentication mechanisms, or attempt unauthorized access to other user accounts or servers.
• Post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or spam content.

7. User Content & Submissions

You retain ownership of any notes, comments, questions, or content you submit to PSC Buddy. By submitting content, you grant PSC Buddy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content to operate and improve the platform. You warrant that your submissions do not violate any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or legal rights.

8. AI-Assisted & Generated Content

Certain topic summaries, question explanations, practice recommendations, or study notes on PSC Buddy are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI-assisted content is generated automatically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or incomplete explanations. AI-generated content should not be treated as official advice or an official interpretation of Kerala PSC notifications.

9. Mock Tests & Practice Materials

Mock tests, practice questions, and score analytics on PSC Buddy are designed exclusively for educational self-assessment and do not represent official Kerala PSC examination question papers unless explicitly identified as official past question papers.

10. Premium Subscriptions & Payments

PSC Buddy may offer free features as well as optional paid Premium subscriptions. If you purchase a subscription:

• Pricing and billing terms will be presented clearly prior to purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically according to the selected billing plan unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
• Failure to pay applicable subscription fees may result in suspension or termination of Premium features.
• Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with our specific purchase guidelines. Applicable taxes are charged per local laws.

11. Intellectual Property & Takedown Policy

The platform code, UI design, database compilations, trademarks, and branding are the proprietary property of PSC Buddy. Official notifications, government publications, and examination documents remain the intellectual property of their respective issuing authorities, and PSC Buddy does not claim ownership over official public materials.

12. Service Availability & Account Actions

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or technical reasons. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform without prior notice. Users may request deletion of their account in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PSC Buddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of examination opportunities, date changes, official notification corrections, website downtime, or reliance on outdated information that has been updated by official authorities. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited under applicable law.

14. Force Majeure

PSC Buddy shall not be liable for any delays, interruptions, or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet service provider outages, government actions, cyberattacks, labor disputes, or failure of third-party infrastructure.

15. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or official government portals. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites.

16. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PSC Buddy regarding your use of the Services.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kerala, India.
