Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community only).

18-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including relaxation as per General Conditions). Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.

1) Must have passed SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR Must have passed Pre-degree examination of any recognized University or equivalent. OR Must have passed Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. 2) Must have passed TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

Exemptions: 1. Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the relevant subject or M.Ed in any subject are exempted from acquiring K-TET qualification. 2. CTET Primary Stage is accepted instead of KTET Category I, and CTET Elementary Stage is accepted instead of KTET Category II. KTET Category III and IV are not accepted in place of CTET. Note: i) M.Phil acquired in the relevant subject must be from a recognized University in Kerala or equivalent. ii) Candidates who have not studied Malayalam in Part I or Part II of SSLC or whose medium of instruction is not Malayalam are not eligible. However, candidates who have studied Malayalam as a language in Degree/Post Graduate/Teacher Training levels through regular courses in Kerala are eligible.
