Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Hindu Nadar community only).

18-43: Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including relaxation as per general conditions). Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.

1) Pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR Degree in any University in Kerala or its equivalent. OR Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. 2) Pass in TTC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. (Note: D.Ed/D.El.Ed qualifications are also accepted as per G.O(RT) No.3280/13/G.Edn dated 05.08.2013, G.O(RT) No.1700/18/G.Edn dated 05.05.2018, and G.O(RT) No.2009/18/G.Edn dated 30.05.2018). 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

Notes: i) M.Phil degree in the concerned subject shall be from a recognized university in Kerala or equivalent. ii) Candidates who have not studied Malayalam in SSLC (Part I or Part II) or whose medium of instruction is not Malayalam are not eligible. iii) B.Ed is not accepted in lieu of TTC. iv) If a written/OMR test is conducted, questions will be in Malayalam. Answers must be written in Malayalam. v) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. vi) Higher qualifications or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government will be accepted. Special conditions regarding age relaxation and reservation for wives of Jawan and First Class Scouts/Guides are applicable as per government orders.
