Direct Recruitment (from amongst candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, SCCC communities only).

18-43: SCCC candidates must have been born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable to the scheduled caste converts to Christianity and their children (Upper age limit 45 years, i.e., born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2005, including para 2(i) of General Conditions). 18-45: Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe candidates must have been born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) (including para 2 (i) of General Conditions). Note:- For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Part II, Paragraph 2 of the General Conditions (except Para 2(i)).

1) Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR A Pre-Degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities as equivalent to Pre-Degree examination. OR A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or any other Examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. 2) Pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Note :- As per G.O(RT) No.3280/13/G.Edn. dated 05.08.2013, D.Ed (Diploma in Teacher Education) and as per G.O(RT) No.1700/18/G.Edn. dated 05.05.2018, G.O(RT) No. 2009/18/G.Edn. dated 30.05.2018, D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) are considered as equivalent to TTC and candidates possessing such qualifications are eligible for selection. 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post in Kerala. Exemption - 1. Candidates who have acquired M.Ed, Ph.D, NET, SLET, SET or equivalent qualifications in the concerned subject are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O. (P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn. dated 09.10.2020). 2. As per the guidelines issued by Government vide circular No. 1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn. dated 09.03.2018, CTET qualified persons who have passed CTET Primary Stage (to consider for KTET Category I) and CTET Elementary Stage (to consider for KTET Category II) are exempted from acquiring KTET Category III and IV.

(i) Applications submitted through-out online mode via www.keralapsc.gov.in will only be accepted. Applications received in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those included in this notification will be summarily rejected without any intimation. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the respective communities, remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post as detailed below: - Kannur (Rank List published on 28.12.2018, Category No. 387/14) - Kasaragod (Rank List published on 28.12.2018, Category No. 387/14) (iv) Candidates shall apply to any one district in which their community is reserved, and note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. If applications are submitted contrary to this direction, and if the candidate is selected/appointed, such applications will be summarily rejected and disciplinary action will be taken. (v) The selection pursuant to this notification will be subject to the special conditions contained in G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A person appointed from the Ranked List prepared on district-wise basis shall not be transferred to any other district for a period of five years from the date of commencement of regular service in the post. (vi) Candidates must upload a recent photograph taken after 31.12.2013 with name and date clearly marked. (vii) Candidates must enter Aadhaar card as ID proof in their profile.
