Direct Recruitment (from qualified candidates belonging to Hindu Nadar reservation community only).

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note :- For conditions regarding other age relaxations please see Part II of the General Conditions except Para 2(i). (Not exceeding 50 years under any circumstances).

1) Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR Pass in Pre-degree Examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree Examination. OR Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or any other Examination recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. 2) Pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Note:- TTC qualification has been renamed as Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.) as per G.O(RT) No.3280/13/G.Edn dated 05.08.2013 and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) as per G.O(RT) No.1700/18/G.Edn dated 05.05.2018 and G.O(RT) No. 2009/18/G.Edn dated 30.05.2018. Candidates possessing D.Ed or D.El.Ed qualifications issued under Government orders are eligible to be considered. 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala. Exemption:- Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET qualification (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016 and G.O. (P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn. Dated 09.10.2020). Note:- (i) M.Phil awarded in the concerned subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala shall be accepted. (ii) Candidates who have not studied Malayalam either as optional or main subject for SSLC will not be eligible to apply for the post. However, candidates who have passed Secondary / Higher Secondary examination without Malayalam as a subject, but able to speak, read and write Malayalam if they have passed Malayalam as a language in Degree/Post Graduation/Teacher Training Qualification levels through regular courses recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala are eligible to apply for this post. [G.O.(Ms) No.67/2018/G.Edn. Dated 22.05.2018]. (iii) B.Ed qualification will not be accepted in lieu of TTC. (iv) If there is a written (Descriptive/OMR) test for this post, the Question Paper will be in Malayalam. The answers shall be written in Malayalam itself. Regarding OMR Answer Script, instead of writing answers, they shall be marked as instructed.

NB: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable for this selection. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order to prove that the qualification is equivalent to the one prescribed for the notification at the time of certificate verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification.
