Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Hindu Nadar community only).

18-43: Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Usual age relaxation as per General Conditions).

1) A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other examination recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. 2) A pass in T.T.C. Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring K-TET qualification (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O. (P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn. dated 09.10.2020).

i) Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) after One Time Registration. Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the notified community will be summarily rejected. ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district. The Ranked List published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and advised against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the districts mentioned. iii) Candidates should submit application for the post to any one of the districts where the vacancy is existing for their community and should note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. If applications are submitted to more than one district, the applications will be rejected. iv) The selection to the post will be subject to the rules in G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. v) T.T.C. qualification is equivalent to D.Ed (Diploma in Teacher Education) or D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education). vi) B.Ed is not accepted in lieu of T.T.C. vii) If a written/OMR test is conducted, the question paper will be in Malayalam. Answers must be written in Malayalam. viii) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. ix) Candidates with higher qualifications than those prescribed in the notification will be accepted, provided they produce the Government order proving the equivalency of the qualification at the time of verification. x) Special concessions for widows of Jawan and First Class Scouts/Guides are applicable.
