Recruitment by Transfer. From other posts or departments in the General Subordinate Service or from other services.
Age Limit
18-50. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included).
Qualifications
i) Must have passed 7th standard or equivalent. ii) Must possess a valid driving license for Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger/Motor vehicles with a driving badge. iii) Must possess the ability to drive Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger/Motor vehicles, which shall be proved by a practical test (including T test) conducted by the PSC. Only those who pass the 'T' test will be allowed to participate in the Road test.
Notes
1. Recruitment by transfer and direct recruitment will be in the ratio 1:3. In the absence of qualified candidates for transfer, the vacancies will be filled by direct recruitment. 2. Employees working in Kerala Government Subordinate Services in posts with a scale of pay below Rs. 18,000-41,500/- are eligible to apply. They must be a permanent employee or an approved probationer in any subordinate service. Temporary employees appointed through employment exchanges are not eligible. 3. Reservation rules applicable to direct recruitment are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. 4. Candidates must possess a valid driving license with a badge at all stages of selection (application, OMR/Online test, practical test, and interview). 5. Probation: Those appointed shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining.
