18-42. (including the relaxation as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Note:- (1) For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Para (2) of the General Conditions. Subject to the Conditions that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. (2) Upper age limit of OX community shall be 44 (Forty four) years in the case of adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children when such adult members are converted to Christianity).

1. A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. 2. Must possess valid Heavy Duty Driving Licence of three years standing with endorsement for driving HP & HG Vehicles and Badge. 3. Proficiency in Driving Medium/Heavy goods/Passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. 4. Medical Fitness:- (a) Ear-Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye-Distant Vision: Right Eye 6/6 Snellen, Left Eye 6/6 Snellen Near Vision: Right Eye 0.5 Snellen, Left Eye 0.5 Snellen Colour Vision: Normal Night blindness: Nil (c) Muscles and joints: No paralysis, all joints with free movement. (d) Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.

(1) Application submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (2) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for each District in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. (3) Reservation community candidates should submit application for the post to the concerned District where the vacancy is existing for their respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (4) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(MS) No. 4/61/PD, dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government Service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
