First Class or Second class Master's Degree in History of Arts with not less than 55% marks obtained from a recognised university. Note : Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable.

The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for Scheduled Caste community and against the vacancies that remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates belonging to this community during the currency of the ranked list, published on 27.11.2004 for the post. This is the fifth NCA notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community as per First NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 12.03.2008 as Category No. 126/08 and Second NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 31.03.2010 as Category No. 74/2010, Third NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 16.07.2012 as Category No. 379/12 and fourth NCA notification published in the Gazetted dated 15.11.2013 as Category No. 429/13. Note : 1. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe will be considered for appointment in the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates. 2. Application submitted by candidates other than those belonging to SC&ST will be rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to them individually. Before applying for the post, candidates shall register as per “ONE TIME REGISTRATION” on the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in. Those registered can apply by logging into their profile using their user ID and password. No application fee is required. Candidates can view, rectify defects and have print-outs the details in the registration card after entering the home page. Candidates are responsible for correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password and they shall quote the user ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, experience, age, community etc have to be produced as and when called for by the Commission.
