Scheduled Caste -1 (One) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Rank list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for Scheduled Caste community and against the vacancies that remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates belonging to this community during the currency of the ranked list, published on 27.11.2004 for the post. This is the fourth NCA notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community as for First NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 12.03.2008 as Category No. 126/08 and Second NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 31.03.2010 as Category No. 74/2010 and Third NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 16.07.2012 as Category No. 379/12.

Direct Recruitment (from Scheduled Caste candidates only.)

25-41 Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1988 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including relaxation in Para 2 (1) of General Conditions). (For conditions regarding the other age relaxation please see part 2 of the General Conditions)

First Class or Second class Master's Degree in History of Arts with not less than 55% marks obtained from a recognised university.

Note : 1. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe will be considered for appointment in the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates. 2. Application submitted by candidates other than those belonging to SC&ST will be rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to them individually. Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have already registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password.
