Age Limit
18-36 Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities (For other conditions regarding age relaxations, please see part 2 of the General Conditions).
Qualifications
1. A pass in Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination or its equivalent 2. Diploma in Fine Arts in the appropriate branch (Drawing and Painting/Modelling and Sculpture/Applied Art) as the case may be awarded / recognised by Government of Kerala after regular institutional course of study in Fine Arts institutes in Kerala or similar Government recognised institutions. 3. Three years experience in the concerned branch from a Government recognised institution after obtaining Diploma in Fine Arts in the concerned branch.
Notes
Three percentage (3%) of the vacancies will be reserved for Physically Handicapped Candidates (Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy,Hearing Impairment) as per G.O.(P) No.1/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013. Note: In the case of Studio Assistant Grade - II (Sculpture), three years experience in Loss Wax Process Metal Casting (Traditional or Italian)/ Traditional Gold Smithy/Wood carving/stone carving will be enough. Note : Rule 10 (a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Note: (i) Experience claimed by the candidates shall be the one gained after acquiring the basic qualification for the post. (ii) The veracity of the Experience Certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and those who issue or produce bogus certificate will be subjected to legal proceedings. The experience certificate obtained from private institutions shall be got counter signed by an authorised officer of the State/Central Government.
