Viswakarma – 1 (One) for Neurosurgery, Scheduled Tribe – 1 (One) for Paediatric Surgery

Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to the communities mentioned in column No.5 of para 2 above.

For ST community:- 21-50 : (Only candidates born between 02/01/1964 and 01/01/1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. For Viswakarma:- 21-49 : (Only candidates born between 02/01/1965 and 01/01/1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (including the relaxation mentioned in Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note:- For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions except para 2 (i).

Senior Lecturer post: i. M.Ch. (Neurosurgery)/DNB (Neurosurgery) in the absence of above M.S. General Surgery ii. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council) (For Paediatric Surgery: i. M.Ch./DNB (Paediatric Surgery) in the absence of above M.S. General Surgery ii. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council)) In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, candidates with the following qualifications will be considered for appointment as LECTURER in the concerned subjects. 1. MBBS Degree from a recognised University 2. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council) Candidates with the above qualifications shall submit separate applications for the posts of Lecturer in each discipline.

Note: 1. DNB qualification must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala. Note: 1. The above qualifications mentioned for the post of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of application 2. Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted. 3. Candidates shall ensure that particulars of all their credentials including Permanent Registration in the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council are added to their profile before submitting applications. 4. Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services connected with Defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military service. 5. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii applicable. Note: Applications submitted by candidates other than the communities mentioned above will be rejected. No individual rejection memo will be issued. Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post.
