For Senior Lecturer post: 1. DM (Nephrology)/DNB (Nephrology) / M.Ch/DNB (Paediatric Surgery) / M.D./DNB (Dermatology & Venerology)/M.D./DNB (Dermatology & Venerology & Leprosy)/M.D.(Dermatology)/ M.D. (Dermatology including Venerology)/M.D./DNB (Dermatology including Venerology & Leprosy) / M.D.(Microbiology)/M.D.(Bacteriology)/DNB (Bacteriology/ Microbiology) / M.D.(Physiology)/DNB (Physiology) / M.D. (Biochemistry)/DNB (Biochemistry) / M.D. (Forensic Medicine)/DNB (Forensic Medicine) (in the absence of candidates with M.Ch/DNB (Paediatric Surgery), M.S. (General Surgery) will be considered for Paediatric Surgery). 2. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council) In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, candidates with the following qualifications will be considered for appointment as LECTURER in the concerned subjects. 1. MBBS Degree from a recognised University 2. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council)

1. DNB qualification must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala. 2. The vacancy noted against Sl. No.4 in the table in Paragraph 2 above pertains to the reservation turn which became “NCA” during the process of advice made as per rules from the Ranked List for the post of Lecturer (Ranked List No.430/13/SSV dated, 03.10.2013 Category No.274/2009) in the absence of suitable candidates for appointment to the post Senior Lecturer from the Ranked List No.348/12/SSV dated 14.08.2012 Category No.223/11). Candidates with the above qualifications shall submit separate applications for the posts of Lecturer in each discipline. Note: 1. The above qualifications mentioned for the post of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of application 2. Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted. 3. Candidates shall ensure that particulars of all their credentials including Permanent Registration in the Travancore Cochin Medical Council are added to their profile before submitting applications. 4. Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services connected with Defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military service. 5. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable.
