Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to the communities mentioned in column No.5 of the table given under the sub heading 'Name of Post'. NOTE: Application submitted by candidates other than the communities mentioned above will be rejected. No individual rejection memo will be issued.
Age Limit
(Including the relaxation as per rules):- 21-49 (Only candidates born between 02/01/1965 and 01/01/1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post earmarked for OBC, Muslim, Dheevara reservation groups. 21-50; only candidates born between 02.01.1964 and 01.01.1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post earmarked for Scheduled Tribe reservation. NOTE: - For other conditions regarding age relaxation see para 2 of the General Conditions.
Qualifications
(1) Qualifications mentioned against respective post in Column No.4 of Para 2. (2) Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council) NOTE: DNB qualifications must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications, candidates will be considered for the post of Lecturer as follows. (B) Lecturer (in the following subjects) 1. Pathology 2. Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery 3. Tuberculosis and Respiratory Medicine(Pulmonary Medicine) 4. Genito Urinary Surgery (Urology) Qualifications : 1. MBBS Degree from a recognised University 2. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council)
Notes
NOTE: 1. Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II, KS & SSR is applicable. 2. The above qualifications mentioned for the post of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of application 3. Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted. 4. Candidates shall ensure that particulars of all their credentials including permanent Registration in the Travancore Cochin Medical Council are added to their profile before submitting the application. 5. Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services or services connected with Defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military service.
