(1) A Degree in English Language and Literature or Post Graduate Degree in English. (2) B.Ed/B.T/L.T Degree in English as an elective subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto. (3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

1. Candidates must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service as on the date of application. 2. Candidates must have at least 5 years of service in the General Education Department as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, Binder etc. as on the date of application. 3. Exemption from K-TET is provided for candidates who have acquired NET/SET/SLET/M.Phil/Ph.D or M.Ed in the concerned subject. 4. Reservation rules (KS & SSR Part II Rules 14-17) are not applicable for this by-transfer appointment. 5. Candidates must submit the application through their profile on the official website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. 6. Candidates must produce a Service Certificate in the prescribed format when required by the Commission.
