By transfer from qualified employees working in the General Education Department as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, Binder, etc.

(1) A Degree in English Language and Literature or Post Graduate Degree in English. (2) B.Ed/B.T/L.T Degree conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala, with English as an optional subject. (3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemptions: 1. Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the relevant subject and M.Ed in any subject are exempted from the TET qualification (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O. (P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn. dated 09.10.2020). 2. As per the Government circular dated 09.03.2018 (No. 1866829/J3/2017/Gen.Edn), CTET is not accepted in lieu of KTET Category III and IV. Additional Requirements: - Must have not less than 5 years of service in the General Education Department as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, Binder, etc., as of the date of application.

1. Applications must be submitted online through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. 2. In the absence of qualified candidates for transfer, vacancies will be filled from the direct recruitment rank list. 3. Candidates must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service as of the date of application. 4. Separate rank lists will be prepared for each district. The list will be valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. 5. Candidates must apply to only one district. Applying to more than one district will lead to rejection. 6. Reservation rules (KS & SSR Part II, Rules 14-17) are not applicable for this by-transfer appointment. 7. Candidates must possess a service certificate from the Head of Office/Department in the prescribed format. 8. Candidates must confirm their participation for any written/OMR/online test through their profile.
