Direct Recruitment I. Category No. 575/2023 : Open Market II. Category No. 576/2023 : Constabulary [Direct Recruitment from among the Graduate Head Constables, Police Constables and officers of corresponding rank in Police or Vigilance Department]

Category - I – [Open Market] : 20-31. Only candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Category - II – [Constabulary] : 20-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

I) Educational Qualifications:- Must be a Graduate. In the case of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates, if sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre-University/ Pre-Degree or equivalent Examination of recognized University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (I). II) Physical Qualification:- A) Must be Physically Fit and should possess the following minimum physical standards :- (i) Height – 167 cm (Taller persons will be given preference) (ii) Chest Measurement – 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm B) Should be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. (i) Distant vision: 6/6 snellen (Left Eye), 6/6 snellen (Right Eye) (ii) Near vision: 0.5 snellen (Left Eye), 0.5 snellen (Right Eye) III) Physical Efficiency Test:- Candidates should qualify in at least five out of the following eight items of National Physical Efficiency One Star Standards Test with minimum standard noted against each: 1. 100 Metres Run: 14 Seconds 2. High Jump: 132.20 cm(4’6”) 3. Long Jump: 457.20 cm(15’) 4. Putting the Shot (7264 gms): 609.60 cm(20’) 5. Throwing the Cricket Ball: 6096 cm(200’) 6. Rope Climbing(only with hands): 365.80 cm(12’) 7. Pull ups or chinning: 8 times 8. 1500 Metres Run: 5 Minutes & 44 seconds

Women and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Ranked List validity is one year. Vacancies are apportioned between Open Market and Constabulary as per G.O(P) No. 6/84/Home dated 18.01.1984. KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Candidates must produce medical certificate in original at the time of Physical Efficiency Test /Certificate Verification. Conditions of Service: Training for one year, not treated as duty. Probation: Total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if OMR/Online test is conducted. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as the ID Proof in their profile.
