Age Limit
Category – I [Open Market]: 20-31. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Usual relaxation for SC/ST and other backward communities. Category – II [Constabulary]: 20-36. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included).
Qualifications
I) Educational Qualification: Must be a Graduate. II) Physical Qualifications: Must be physically fit. Minimum physical standards: (i) Height - 167 cm (Preference will be given to taller candidates) (ii) Chest - 81 cm (Minimum 5 cm expansion required) Note: For SC/ST candidates, minimum height is 160 cm and chest is 76 cm. However, the minimum 5 cm chest expansion is mandatory for them. B) Must have the following vision standards: Right Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen Left Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen III) Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test.
Notes
Note: Women and differently-abled candidates are not eligible to apply. The rank list prepared will be valid for one year from the date of publication. Vacancies reported during the validity of the list will be filled as per G.O.(P).No.06/84/Home dated 18.01.1984. Candidates must produce a medical certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon during the physical efficiency test/certificate verification. Candidates must qualify in the physical efficiency test to be eligible for selection. Training period is one year. Probation is for two years within a continuous period of three years after training. Candidates must apply online via www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in violation of general conditions will be rejected.
