Direct Recruitment I. Category No : 446/2025 : Open Market II. Category No : 447/2025 : Constabulary [Direct Recruitment from among the Graduate Head Constables, Police Constables and officers of corresponding rank in Police or Vigilance Department]

Category - I – [Open Market]: 20-31. Only candidates born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Category - II – [Constabulary]: 20-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

I) Educational Qualifications:- Must be a Graduate. Only in the absence of sufficient number of qualified SC/ST candidates, applications of SC/ST candidates who have passed Intermediate/Pre University Examinations of recognized University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (i)(As per G.O(Ms)No. 239/Home dated 04.05.1961). II) Physical Qualification:- A) Must be Physically Fit and should possess the following minimum physical standards :- (i) Height – 167 cm (Taller persons will be given preference) (ii) Chest Measurement – 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm B) Should be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. Right Eye: Distant vision 6/6 snellen, Near vision 0.5 snellen Left Eye: Distant vision 6/6 snellen, Near vision 0.5 snellen (e) Proficiency in Sports, Military training and membership in NCC will be considered as desirable qualification. (f) NCC Cadets having 'A”, 'B' & 'C' Certificates will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively as per GO(Ms)No.112/2007/H.Edn, dated 21.08.2007. (g) Extra marks will be awarded to meritorious sports persons as per para 6 of the General Conditions. (h) Students Police Cadet (SPC) certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per GO(Ms)No.06/2025/P&ARD dated 01.03.2025 (i) Physical Efficiency Test:- Candidates should qualify in at least five out of the following eight items of National Physical Efficiency One Star Standards Test: 100 Metres Run (14 Seconds), High Jump (132.20 cm), Long Jump (457.20 cm), Putting the Shot (7264 gms) (609.60 cm), Throwing the Cricket Ball (6096 cm), Rope Climbing(only with hands) (365.80 cm), Pull ups or chinning (8 times), 1500 Metres Run (5 Minutes & 44 seconds).

Women and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Ranked List validity is one year. Vacancies apportioned between Open Market and Constabulary as per G.O(P) No. 6/84/Home dated 18.01.1984. KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Physical Measurement taken prior to Physical Efficiency Test. Medical certificate in original required at time of Physical Efficiency Test/Certificate Verification. Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
