Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to above reservation communities only.)

(i) SC. 18-44. Candidates born between 2.1.1970 and 1.1.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of general conditions). (ii) Dheevara, Hindu Nadar. 18-42 Candidates born between 2.1.1972 and 1.1.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions) Note: For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this notification [except para 2 (i)].

(i) A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. (ii) Must posses valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Light Motor Vehicle with Driver's badge. (iii) Proficiency in Driving light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved in a practical test conducted by KPSC during the course of selection. Only those who pass `H' test are eligible for Road Test. Note:- Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (iv) Medical Fitness :- (a) Ear – Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye- Distant Vision : 6/6 Snellen Near Vision : 0.5 Snellen Colour Vision : Normal Night blindness : Nil (c ) Muscles and joints : No paralysis, all joints must be capable of free movement. (d) Nervous System : Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.

(i) In the absence of candidate belonging to Scheduled caste community to the vacancy earmarked for them, applications from Scheduled Tribe candidates will also be considered. (ii) Conventional type application will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply only through online application available at the Kerala Public Service Commission website 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' . (iii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates. (iv) A Ranked list will be prepared for each community in the above districts in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. (v) The candidates belonging to above reservation communities shall submit application for this post to the district where the vacancy is in existence for their community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the ranked list and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (vi) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue district from the ranked list prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(MS)No. 4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. Note 1: Candidates called for practical Test will have to produce a Medical Certificate in the prescribed form in original containing all relevant details as required in para 7(iv) (except iv(b) above from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon. A Medical certificate regarding eye sight from a Ophthalmologist in Government Service also will have to be produced. Note 2: The Candidates will have to furnish the full details regarding the Driving Licence and experience in driving in the relevant column (qualifications) of the application form. Note 3: Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. Note 4: Candidates should possess a current valid Driving Licence and badge during the entire stage of selection process i.e on the last date of receipt of application, OMR test and on the date of Practical Test, interview etc.
