18-39. Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (For other age relaxations, refer to Part 2 of the General Conditions).

1. Must be able to read and write in Malayalam, Tamil, or Kannada. 2. Must possess a current valid Driving License for at least 3 years for Light Motor Vehicles. (The license must be valid at the time of application, OMR test, practical test, and interview, and must possess a badge). 3. Must possess proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles, which will be tested in a practical test. 4. Medical Fitness: (a) Ear: Perfect hearing. (b) Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen, Colour vision normal, Night blindness should not exist, Field of vision must be full. (c) Muscles and Joints: No paralysis, all joints must be easily movable. (d) Nervous System: Perfectly normal, no infectious diseases.

1. Candidates belonging to communities other than SCCC are not eligible to apply. 2. Physically disabled candidates are not eligible for this post. 3. Candidates must possess a current Driving License and Badge at all stages of selection. 4. Proficiency in driving will be tested in a practical test conducted by the Commission. 5. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce Government orders proving the equivalency at the time of certificate verification. 6. Candidates must produce a medical certificate regarding physical fitness and vision in the prescribed format from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon and an Ophthalmologist in Government Service respectively when required by the Commission. 7. Any false claim regarding education, experience, etc., will lead to disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure Rule 22. 8. Applications will be rejected if the caste/community claimed is different from that recorded in the SSLC book without a Gazette notification. 9. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the application for future use.
