Direct Recruitment (From among the candidates belonging to the reservation communities mentioned above only).
Age Limit
1) 18-42. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post [including the relaxations as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions]. 2) 18-44. Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including para 2(i) of General conditions) from among members belonging to Scheduled Castes who have converted to Christianity and their children. Note:- Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
Qualifications
i) Pass in Standard VII (7th) or equivalent qualification. ii) Must possess valid Driving Licence of 3 years standing to drive Light Motor Vehicles with Driver's Badge. iii) Proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a practical test including 'H' Test conducted by KPSC. Those who pass 'H' Test alone will be considered for Road Test. iv) Medical Fitness: (a) Ear: Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye: Right Eye Left Eye Distant Vision : 6/6 snellen 6/6 snellen Near Vision : 0.5 snellen 0.5 snellen (c) Each eye must have full field of vision. (d) Colour Vision : Normal (e) Night blindness : Nil (f) Muscles and Joints : No paralysis and all joints with free movements. (g) Nervous System : Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.
Notes
(i) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. (ii) Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. (iii) Probation: The persons appointed to this post shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
