Age Limit
i) 18-39, ie, candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) ii) In the case of candidates belonging to Adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children when such adult members are converted to Christianity the upper age limit will be 41 years, i.e, such candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (including relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, Please see Para (2) of the General Condition under Part II of this notification [except para 2(i)].
Qualifications
1. A Pass in SSLC or any equivalent examination. 2. Working Knowledge of both Kannada and Malayalam languages. Note:- 1) Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. 2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
Notes
i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. ii) A Ranked list will be prepared for the above community for Kasaragod district in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of SCCC candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. iii) The candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to Kasaragod District where the vacancy is existing and shall note the name of that District against the relevant column of the online application. iv) This will include the integrated post of Clerk/ Village Assistant (Kannada & Malayalam knowing) in the Revenue Department. Candidates advised as Clerk/Village Assistant (Kannada & Malayalam knowing) in the Revenue Department from the Ranked List to be prepared in pursuance of this notification will be sent by the Department for Survey Training if they have not already passed Chain Survey Test. v) Candidates willing to be posted as Clerk (Kannada & Malayalam knowing) in Kerala State Archives Department must submit willingness. Such candidates are eligible for appointment in other departments also, as and when their turn for recruitment arises. If a person is once advised for appointment in the State Archives Department, he will not be further considered for appointment in any other Department on the basis of that select list. Persons appointed as Clerk (Kannada & Malayalam knowing) in State Archives Department have to undergo during the period of probation, an Inservice Training in Old Scripts as may be prescribed by the Government vi) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(P)No.36/91/P&ARD dated 02.12.1991 for inter district transfers in same department and G.O(P)No.05/2013/P&ARD dated 06.02.2013 for inter departmental transfers. But as per the G.O.(P)No.12/96 P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the conditions of 5 years Service is not applicable for transfer to the districts Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer in to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. 3) In the case of Candidates advised for the post in the Registration Department,they should also pass handwriting test in Kannada asper G.O (MS)No.68/65 dated 15/01/1965 . 4) Candidates should secure a separate minimum of 40 % marks each for the Regional languages viz. Kannada and Malayalam in the written Test
