Age Limit
18-39. Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules for SC/ST and other backward communities). Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
I) Must have passed 7th Standard or Third Form. ii) Must possess a current valid Driving License for Light Motor Vehicles with Driver's Badge and must have 3 (three) years experience in driving Light Motor Vehicles. iii) Must possess the ability to drive Light Motor Vehicles (This should be proved by a practical test (including 'H' test) conducted by the P.S.C. Only those who pass the 'H' test will be allowed to participate in the Road Test.)
Notes
1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable to this selection. 2. Driving Badge is exempted for driving Light Motor Vehicles from 12.10.2018. 3. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. 4. Probation: Candidates appointed to this post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining duty. 5. Candidates must possess a valid Driving License with Badge at all stages of selection (i.e., on the last date of receipt of application, OMR/Online test, practical test, and interview). 6. Candidates must submit the printout of the online application in all correspondence with the Commission. 7. Candidates must produce the Medical Certificate (in the prescribed format) regarding physical fitness and vision standards from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon and an Ophthalmologist in Government Service respectively at the time of the practical test.
