Age Limit
The upper age limit for applicants shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2022.
Qualifications
1. Post Graduate Degree in Humanities, Science, Commerce, Public Administration or Languages from any statutory university in India with not less than 50% marks. 2(a). M.Ed Degree with not less than 50% marks with specialization in Measurement and Evaluation, Techniques of Evaluation, Tools and Techniques of Assessment, Basic Concept of Evaluation or any of these subjects. OR (b). M.Ed Degree in any subject with not less than 50% marks from any statutory university in India along with Post Graduate Diploma or Diploma in any of the subjects mentioned in item 2(a) from any institution recognized by the Government of Kerala. OR (c). Post Graduate Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics from any statutory university in India with not less than 50% marks along with M.Ed Degree. (3). Not less than three years of regular teaching experience as Teacher Educator in Government Teacher Training Institutes or as Primary School Teacher, High School Teacher, Higher Secondary School Teacher or Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher in Government Schools in Kerala.
Notes
1. In appointments by transfer, a ratio of 2:1 will be followed from the following categories: (i) Those appointed as teachers in Government Primary Schools and continuing as teachers. (ii) Those appointed as teachers in Government Higher Secondary Schools, Vocational Higher Secondary Schools, High Schools and as Teacher Educators in Teacher Training Institutes and continuing as teachers. 2. If qualified candidates are not available from category (i) of Note 1, vacancies will be filled from category (ii) and vice versa. In the absence of qualified candidates from both (i) and (ii), vacancies will be filled by direct recruitment. 3. Applicants for appointment by transfer must obtain a Service Certificate in the prescribed format from the Head of Office, certifying that they are in regular service, and produce it when required by the Commission. 4. Non-qualifying degrees (Ph.D, M.Phil, Post Doctoral Fellowship) in subjects related to the basic qualification will be awarded additional marks for ranking. 5. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 6. Reservation rules as per Part II, Rules 14 to 17 of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958 are not applicable for appointment by transfer.
