18 - 26. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1997 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and other backward communities as per General Rule 10(c).

I) Educational Qualification: Must have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination. Preference will be given to candidates having a Diploma in Computer Application. II) Physical Qualifications: A) Candidates must be physically fit and possess the following minimum physical standards: General Category: Height 152 cm SC/ST Category: Height 150 cm III) Swimming Proficiency: Candidates must possess swimming proficiency. A practical test will be conducted by the Commission to prove this: (i) Must complete 50 meters swimming within 2 minutes and 15 seconds. (ii) Ability to float in deep water for 2 minutes. Candidates must pass both items to be considered successful in the swimming test. IV) Vision: Must possess the following vision standards without glasses: Right Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen, Field of Vision Full Left Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen, Field of Vision Full Notes: (a) Each eye must have full vision. (b) Colour blindness, squint, or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids are considered disqualifications. (c) A medical certificate in the prescribed format regarding physical fitness, ability to perform strenuous work, and vision, obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Surgeon Gr-II, must be produced when required by the Commission.

1. Men and differently-abled candidates are not eligible to apply. 2. Candidates can apply for only one district. Applying for more than one district will lead to rejection. 3. A rank list will be prepared district-wise, valid for one year. 4. Candidates selected must undergo training and pass the examination. After training, they must serve in the Fire and Rescue Services for at least 7 years. Failure to do so will require payment of Rs. 50,000/- or the amount fixed by the Government as liquidated damages. 5. Probation period is two years within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining. 6. Candidates must produce the original documents for verification when required by the Commission. 7. Candidates must upload a photo taken within the last 6 months with the name and date of taking the photo clearly marked.
