Direct Recruitment (Statewide) (From the women candidates belonging to Muslim community only.)

18-29. Candidates born between 02.01.1996 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) in part II of the General conditions). Note: (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Para (2) of the General Conditions, except Para 2(i), under Part II of this notification.)

(a) Educational Qualifications: Pass in Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Examination or its equivalent Note: (i) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. (ii) In addition to the qualification specified in the Notification, the qualification declared by Government through executive orders or standing orders, as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification and the higher qualifications of the notified and prescribed basic qualifications shall be accepted. The Government Order regarding the equivalent qualification/higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the Commission. (b) Physical qualifications (i) Height : A minimum of 157 cm. (ii) Eye sight : Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. Vision Right Eye Left Eye (a) Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen (b) Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen Note: (i) Each eye must have a full field of vision. (ii) Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. (iii) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. (c) Physical Efficiency Test Must qualify in any five events out of eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency, (One Star Standard Test).

(i) Differently abled candidates and male candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. (iii) The recruitment to the post of Woman Police Constable will only be to the Women Police Battalion and the vacancies occurring in the district will be filled up by transferring the officers on the basis of Advice/Rank Seniority. (GO(Rt)No. 1484/2017/Home dated 05.06.2017). (iv) The name, educational qualification and age for this post notified as per G.O (MS) 203/86/Home dtd. 11.09.1986 (SRO No. 1387/86) and G.O (P) No. 139/2017/Home Dtd. 08.12.2017 (SRO No. 788/2017). (v) Candidates having 'A', 'B' & 'C' certificate of NCC will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively, vide G.O (Ms) No.112/2007/HEdn. Dated 21.08.2007. (vi) Extra marks will be awarded to meritorious sports persons as per para 6 of the general conditions. (vii) Student Police Cadet (SPC) Certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per G.O. (MS) No.06/2025/P&RD dated 01.03.2025. (viii) The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 21.04.2025 from the post as detailed below, whichever is earlier.
