18-29. Candidates born between 02.01.1996 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post.(Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) in part II of General conditions). Note: Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste Converted to Christian Community, who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents ie. candidates born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.2007 are eligible to apply for this post (both dates included) and their age limit is 18-31. ( Para (2) of the General Conditions are not applicable to this selection.)

(a) Educational Qualifications: Pass in Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Examination or its equivalent Note: (i) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. (ii) In addition to the qualification specified in the Notification, the qualification declared by Government through executive orders or standing orders, as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification and the higher qualifications of the notified and prescribed basic qualifications shall be accepted. The Government Order regarding the equivalent qualification/higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the Commission. (b) Physical qualifications (i) Height : A minimum of 157 cm. (ii) Eye sight : Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. (ii) Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. (iii) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. (c) Physical Efficiency Test Must qualify in any five events out of eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency, (One Star Standard Test). (i) Differently abled candidates and male candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. (iii) The recruitment to the post of Woman Police Constable will only be to the Woman Police Battalion and the vacancies occurring in the district will be filled up by transferring the officers on the basis of Advice/Rank Seniority. (GO(Rt)No. 1484/2017/Home dated 05.06.2017). (iv) The name, educational qualification and age for this post notified as per G.O (MS) 203/86/Home dtd. 11.09.1986 (SRO No. 1387/86) and G.O (P) No. 139/2017/Home Dtd. 08.12.2017 (SRO No. 788/2017). (v) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification shall remain in force for a period of one year from the date of publication of Ranked List or until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 21.04.2025 from the post as detailed below, whichever is earlier. The Physical measurement of candidates will be taken at the time of physical efficiency test and those who do not possess the prescribed physical measurement will not be admitted for the physical efficiency test. If accidents or injuries happen to a candidate while participating in the physical efficiency test, she will not be given further chance to participate in the test. 2. The tentative schedule for Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency test will be published in the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission. Candidates should produce a medical certificate in original in the form prescribed hereunder certifying to their physical fitness and eye sight without glasses at the time of Physical Efficiency Test. Medical Certificate should be one obtained from a Medical Officer under the Government not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant. This Medical Certificate shall be uploaded in the profile of the candidate and the original shall be produced at the time of certificate verification. Candidates having 'A', 'B' & 'C' certificate of NCC will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively, vide G.O (Ms) No.112/2007/HEdn. Dated 21.08.2007. Student Police Cadet (SPC) Certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per G.O.(MS) No.06/2025/P&RD dated 01.03.2025. Extra marks will be awarded to meritorious sports persons as per para 6 of the general conditions. Special Instructions to candidates: (i) In the case of difference in Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC Book, the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-Creamy Layer Certificate / Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification. (ii) Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instructions given in the notification as Part II, General Conditions before submitting application for the post. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the General conditions are liable to be rejected. (iii) Appropriate disciplinary actions as per rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of procedure shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc. and are liable to be disqualified for being considered for a particular post or debarment from applying to the Commission either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer scripts or products in a written/practical test or the initiation of criminal or other proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from office or the ordering of any other disciplinary action against them if they have already been appointed, or any one or more of the above.
