18-26. Candidates born between 02.01.1999 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Note:-Maximum age limit shall be relaxed upto 29 years for candidates belonging to other backward communities and 31 years for SC/ST candidates. [For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see para 2(i) of the General Conditions.] Other conditions regarding age relaxation in Para (2) of the General Conditions are not applicable to this selection.

(a) Educational Qualifications: Pass in Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Examination or its equivalent. Note: i) In the case of SC and ST candidates who have failed in the Higher Secondary (Plus Two) examination shall also be considered if sufficient number of qualified candidates not available to fill up the Quota reserved for SC and ST. ii) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. iii) In addition to the qualification specified in the Notification, the qualification declared by Government through executive orders or standing orders, as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification and the higher qualifications of the notified and prescribed basic qualifications shall be accepted. The Government Order regarding the equivalent qualification/higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the Commission. (b) Physical qualifications (i) Height : A minimum of 157 cm. Note: Minimum Height measurement shall be 150 cm for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities (ii) Eye sight : Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. (ii) Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. (iii) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. (c) Physical Efficiency Test Must qualify in any 5 (five) events out of 8 (eight) events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency, (One Star Standard Test). (i) Differently abled candidates and male candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. (ii) The recruitment to the post of Woman Police Constable will only be to the Woman Police Battalion and the vacancies occurring in the district will be filled up by transferring the officers on the basis of Advice/Rank Seniority. (GO(Rt)No. 1484/2017/Home dated 05.06.2017). (iii) The name, educational qualification and age for this post notified as per G.O (MS) 203/86/Home dtd. 11.09.1986 (SRO No. 1387/86) and G.O (P) No. 139/2017/Home Dtd. 08.12.2017 (SRO No. 788/2017). (iv) The Ranked list published shall cease to be in force after one year from the date of finalization of the ranked list. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the ranked list. 1.The Physical measurement of candidates will be taken at the time of physical efficiency test and those who do not possess the prescribed physical measurement will not be admitted for the physical efficiency test. If accidents or injuries happen to a candidate while participating in the physical efficiency test, she will not be given further chance to participate in the test. 2. The tentative schedule for Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency test will be published in the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission. Candidates having 'A', 'B' & 'C' certificate of NCC will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively, vide G.O (Ms) No.112/2007/HEdn. Dated 21.08.2007. Extra marks will be awarded to meritorious sports persons as per para 6 of the general conditions. Student Police Cadet (SPC) Certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per G.O.(MS) No.06/2025/P&RD dated 01.03.2025.
