Direct Recruitment (From among Scheduled Caste candidates only; in the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates, applications of Scheduled Tribe candidates will be considered).

18-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Usual age relaxation as per general conditions).

1. A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University. OR A Pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. OR A Pass in SSLC Examination of the Kerala Government with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II). OR A Pass in SSLC Examination or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications: 1. A pass in Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2. A pass in Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3. A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 4. A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. Note: In addition to the above, a pass in BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala as per G.O.(MS) No. 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019 is also considered as a qualification for this post. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

1. Exemption from K-TET: Candidates who have acquired M.Ed in the concerned subject are exempted from K-TET (G.O.(P) No. 145/16/G.Edn dated 30.08.2016, G.O.(P) No. 206/16/G.Edn dated 08.12.2016). As per G.O.(P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020, M.Ed need not be in the concerned subject. Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET Category IV (G.O.(MS) No. 109/2022/GEDN dated 24.06.2022). 2. CTET Primary Stage is not accepted in lieu of KTET Category I, and CTET Elementary Stage is not accepted in lieu of KTET Category II (Circular No. 1866829/J3/17/G.Edn dated 09.03.2018). 3. M.Phil in the concerned subject must be from a recognized University in Kerala or equivalent. 4. A pass in SSLC or equivalent is the minimum qualification as per G.O.(MS) No. 232/09/G.Edn dated 30.11.2009. 5. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a(ii) is applicable. 6. Candidates must submit applications online via the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. 7. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2012 with the name and date clearly printed at the bottom. 8. Candidates must confirm their participation for any written/OMR/online test through their One Time Registration profile.
