Direct Recruitment (From members of the specified reservation communities only viz. Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Dheevara, Viswakarma, Scheduled Caste).

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxations as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). 18-45. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxations as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note :- Maximium upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

1. A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR A Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic as First Language (Full Mark) Paper I and II. OR A pass in SSLC Examination equivalent thereto and any of the following qualifications: 1. Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination passed. 2. Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination passed. 3. Arabic Teachers Examination passed. 4. Examination in Arabic Entrance conducted by the Universities of Kerala/Calicut. Note: As per G.O.(Rt) No.8/19/P&ARD dated 14.01.2019, B.A Arabic & Islamic History double main degree conferred or recognized by the universities in Kerala is a prescribed qualification for this post. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post.

(i) Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (ii) Candidates who have claimed equivalency for qualification should produce the Government Order proving the same at the time of certificate verification. (iii) Appropriate Government orders/judgments/standing orders regarding equivalent qualifications/higher qualifications shall be produced at the time of Commission's verification.
