Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community only).

18-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions]. Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.

1. A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University. OR A Pass in Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations in Kerala. OR A Pass in SSLC Examination of the Kerala Government with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II). OR A Pass in SSLC Examination of the Kerala Government or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications: i) A pass in Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. ii) A pass in Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. iii) A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. iv) A pass in Entrance Examination in Arabic conducted by the Kerala University or Calicut University. Note: In addition to the above qualifications, a BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala is also considered as a qualification for this post (G.O.(MS) No. 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019). 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subject are exempted from acquiring K-TET qualification (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016).

1. Applications submitted online only will be accepted. Applications submitted through other means will be summarily rejected. 2. Candidates belonging to communities other than the one included in this notification will be rejected without any notice. 3. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the districts mentioned above. The Ranked List published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List, or for three years from the date of publication of the Ranked List, whichever is earlier. 4. Candidates should submit application for only one district. If a candidate submits applications for more than one district, all such applications will be rejected. 5. Selection is district-wise as per G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. 6. Candidates must produce original documents including caste/community certificate, non-creamy layer certificate, and relevant gazette notification at the time of OTR verification. 7. KTET exemption note: M.Ed need not be in the respective subject as per G.O(P) No 15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020. 8. M.Phil qualification must be from a recognized university in Kerala or equivalent. 9. Candidates must have passed SSLC or equivalent as minimum qualification as per G.O (MS) No. 232/09/G.Edn dated 30.11.2009. 10. Equivalence of qualifications will be considered only if the candidate produces the government order at the time of verification. 11. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a(ii) is applicable. 12. Special concessions for wives of Jawan and Scouts/Guides are applicable as per government orders. 13. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the application for future use. 14. Aadhaar card must be provided in the profile as identity proof. 15. Confirmation for examination is mandatory.
