18-41. Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. The upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years under any circumstances (including all relaxations). See Part II of the General Conditions for details.

Must have passed SSLC or any other equivalent examination.

Note: (i) Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the specified reservation community will be rejected without any notice. (ii) A separate Ranked List will be prepared for the above district for the above-mentioned reservation community. The Ranked List published as per this notification shall be in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the district (Ranked List published on 13.03.2018, Category No. 415/13). (iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a District-wise basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A person appointed to this post from the Ranked List prepared on a district-wise basis will not be eligible for inter-district transfer for a period of five years from the date of commencement of service in the district. After five years, such transfer will be subject to the rules in G.O.(P) No. 36/91/P&ARD dated 02.12.1991 and G.O.(P) No. 05/2013/P&ARD dated 06.02.2013. This condition is not applicable to transfer to Idukki, Wayanad, and Kasaragod districts as per G.O.(P) No. 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.03.1996. This concession is available only once in their official career. Candidates already in government service in the same post are not eligible to apply, but may apply for a higher post. (iv) Candidates must possess Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with the Gazette notification regarding change of name if the caste/community claimed in the application differs from that recorded in the SSLC book. (v) Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification. (vi) Any false claim regarding qualification, experience, etc., will lead to disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976.
