District wise Scheduled Tribe (ST) - Thiruvananthapuram - 1 (One) Note: In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community, applications from eligible Ex-servicemen belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) community will be received.

18-41. Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions]

Pass in S.S.L.C. or equivalent examination. Note: (i) Only Ex-servicemen are eligible to apply for this post. (ii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable for this selection. (iii) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification.

Note:-(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. (ii) A Ranked List so prepared as per this notification will be published in Thiruvananthapuram district. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post as detailed below: District - Date of publication of Ranked List - Category Number Thiruvananthapuram - 26.08.2009 - 228/2005 (iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a district wise basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.
