18-39. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). (Including the relaxation in General Conditions 2(i)). [In no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years (including all relaxations). See Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions].

Pass in SSLC or any other equivalent qualification.

Note: (i) Only Ex-servicemen are eligible to apply for this post. (ii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable for selection to this post. (iii) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government order proving the equivalency at the time of verification, otherwise the qualification will not be considered. (iv) Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the reserved community will be rejected without any notice. (v) A separate Ranked List will be prepared for the above mentioned reserved community in Palakkad district. The Ranked List will be in force for a minimum period of 3 years or until the expiry of the Ranked List published for the same category in the district on 20.02.2018 (Cat No. 415/13), whichever is earlier. (vi) Selection is subject to the special conditions in G.O.(MS) 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971 regarding district-wise selection. (vii) Candidates who are selected for posts like Store Keeper, Cashier etc., which require Fidelity Guarantee Policy, must submit a consent letter at the time of certificate verification. (viii) Selection will be based on an OMR test at the SSLC level. (ix) Candidates must appear for the examination at the center allotted to them. They will only be allowed to write the exam in the district they have applied for. (x) If the caste mentioned in the SSLC book is different from the caste claimed in the application, the candidate must produce a Gazette notification and a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from the Revenue Authority at the time of verification. (xi) Candidates who have submitted applications and provided confirmation for the exam but fail to appear or attend will face disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure Rule 22.
