18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in respect of Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, LC/AI, Viswakarma candidates. 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in respect of Scheduled Caste candidates (including the relaxations in Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions).

1 Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) Course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR SSLC Examination of the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Part I and Part II Arabic as First Language. OR A pass in SSLC Examination or equivalent examination and any of the following qualifications: 1. Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination of the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2. Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination of the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3. Arabic Teachers Examination of the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 4. Examination in Arabic Entrance conducted by the Universities of Kerala and Calicut. Note:- In addition to the above qualifications, BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree of Universities in Kerala is also declared as equivalent to BA Arabic as per G.O.(Ms) No.8/19/P&ARD dated 14.01.2019. 2 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET-IV) for this post. Exemption: - (i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). (ii) Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET Category IV (G.O.(Ms) No.109/2022/GEDN Dated 24.06.2022).

(i) Candidates must submit applications through online mode only. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the reservation communities included in this notification will be summarily rejected. (iii) Separate Rank Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post as detailed below: Alappuzha - 18.01.2019 - 532/13 Thrissur - 22.02.2019 - 532/13 Palakkad - 29.03.2019 - 532/13 Wayanad - 18.01.2019 - 532/13 (iv) Candidates shall submit application to only one district in response to this notification and note the name of the district in the relevant column of the online application. (v) The selection pursuant to this notification will be subject to the rules formulated by the Government from time to time.
