Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (from among Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates belonging to Kerala State only).
Age Limit
18-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.05.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply (Including the relaxations as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years, please see Part II of the General Conditions (except Para 2(i)).
Qualifications
1. A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR A Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with First Language (First Paper) and Second Paper in Arabic. OR A pass in SSLC or equivalent examination and possessing any of the following qualifications: 1. Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination passed. 2. Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination passed. 3. Arabic Teachers Examination passed. 4. Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. Note: In addition to the above qualifications, a pass in B.A Arabic & Islamic History double main degree offered by the Universities in Kerala as per G.O.(Rt) No. 8/19/PCE dated 14.01.2019 is also considered as a prescribed qualification for this post. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET-IV) for this post.
Notes
(i) Applications submitted through online mode will be summarily rejected. Applications available at www.keralapsc.gov.in (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those included in this notification will be summarily rejected. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the districts as detailed below: Palakkad - 29.03.2019 (Category No. 532/13) Kasaragod - 15.12.2018 (Category No. 532/13) (iv) Candidates should submit applications to any one of the districts in response to this notification and note the name of the district in the relevant column of the online application. (v) The selection pursuant to this notification will be subject to the special conditions contained in G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971.
