a) A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR Passed SSLC Examination with Arabic as First Language (First Paper and Second Paper) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Passed SSLC Examination or its equivalent and possessing any of the following qualifications: 1) Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2) Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted BEY the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 4) Entrance Examination in Arabic conducted by the University of Kerala or the University of Calicut. Note: As per G.O.(MS) No.8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019 BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala is treated as sufficient qualification for the post. b) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O.(P) No.145/16/G.Edn dated 30.08.2016, G.O.(P) No.206/16/G.Edn dated 08.12.2016). Employees of General Education Department who have entered service before 31.03.2012 as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant and completed prescribed service are exempted from acquiring KTET when getting appointment by transfer. Note: 1. G.O.(P) No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020 is not applicable for M.Ed qualification. 2. M.Phil in concerned subject should be from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized by Universities in Kerala. 3. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable for this post. 4. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Order to prove equivalency at the time of verification. c) Must have 5 (Five) years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in General Education Department on the date of application. i) If qualified candidates are not available for appointment by transfer, the vacancies notified for transfer will be filled from the ranked list prepared for direct recruitment. ii) The candidate should be an Approved Probationer or Full Member of the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service on the last date of receipt of application. iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district... iv) Applications should be submitted to the district where vacancies are reported... v) The selection pursuant to the notification will be subject to rules framed under G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971... vi) The reservation rules in KS & SSR Part II Rules 14 to 17 are not applicable to this appointment by transfer.
