Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe community only). (In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community will be considered and vice versa)

18-45. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General conditions)

1 A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala OR A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. OR A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations. Kerala. OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language. OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications. (i) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (ii) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (iii) A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (iv) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. Note: In addition to the above qualifications, as per GO (MS) 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019, BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala will also be considered as a qualification for the above said post. 2 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: (i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 , G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). (ii) Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET Category IV [G.O.(Ms)No.109/22/GEDN dated. 24.06.2022]

(This is the fifth NCA notification due to the non availability of SC and ST candidates for the post as per Category No.109/12 & 110/12 in the Gazette dated 24.04.2012, Cat.No.756/14 and 757/14 in the Gazette dated 31.12.2014, Cat.No.381/18 and 382/18 in the Gazette dated 29.12.2018 and Cat No.428/20 and 429/20 in the Gazette dated 30.12.2020) Note:- i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will be considered and vice versa. iii) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, which remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the districts. iv) Candidates shall submit application for the post to any one of the above mentioned districts where the vacancy is existing for their respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971.
