18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part-II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the notification.)

(1) S.S.L.C. or equivalent qualification. (2) Must possess any one of the following qualifications: a) KGTE (Lower) Certificate in Drawing or equivalent qualification. b) Certificate of 18 months course in Draftsman (Civil) from an Engineering College or Industrial Training Centre recognized by the Government of India or Government of Kerala. c) Must have passed two subjects in Civil Engineering of KGTE (Lower) or equivalent or higher qualification without the need for KGTE (Lower) in Building Drawing and Estimating. d) Diploma in Civil Engineering from any of the Women's Polytechnics in Kerala after completing a two-year course. e) Diploma in Agriculture and Rural Engineering from Rural Institute, Thavanur. f) Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Draftsmanship and Quantity Surveying. g) Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Building Technology.

1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared equivalent by the Government through executive orders or standing orders, qualifications fixed by the Commission as equivalent to those prescribed in the Special Rules, and higher qualifications which have the prescribed qualifications as basic qualifications will be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission. 3. 4% of vacancies reported for this post are reserved for differently-abled candidates as per G.O.(P)No.7/2022/SJD dated 28.10.2022. The Government order and the certificate to be produced by differently-abled candidates are available in the link provided. 4. Candidates must confirm their participation in the written/OMR/online examination through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who confirm will be able to download the admission ticket. Failure to confirm will lead to unconditional rejection of the application. 5. Candidates must provide their Aadhaar card as identity proof in their profile. 6. Any false claims regarding education, experience, caste, age, etc., will lead to disciplinary action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure, including debarment from future exams, cancellation of answer scripts, or removal from service if already appointed.
