Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to the respective reservation communities only. In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, applications of Scheduled Tribe candidates will be considered and vice versa).
Age Limit
18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions) with usual relaxation to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Communities. 18-45. Candidates belonging to SC/ST and converted Christians from SC/ST who were born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply.
Qualifications
1 Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) Course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR SSLC Examination of the Kerala Government Education Commissioner as First Language (First Paper and Second Paper) Arabic. OR SSLC Examination or its equivalent of the Kerala Government Education Commissioner and possessing any of the following qualifications: (i) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination of the Kerala Government Education Commissioner. (ii) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination of the Kerala Government Education Commissioner. (iii) Arabic Teacher's Examination of the Kerala Government Education Commissioner. (iv) Examination in Arabic Entrance passed by the University of Kerala or Calicut. 2 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post.
Notes
(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. (iii) Candidates shall submit application to any one district in response to this notification and note the name of the district in the relevant column of online application.
