Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community only). In the absence of candidates from Scheduled Tribe community, applications of candidates from Scheduled Caste community will be considered.

18-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation is applicable.

1. A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR 2. A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR 3. A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University. OR 4. A Pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations in Kerala. OR 5. A Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II). OR 6. A Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in any one of the following: i. Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. ii. Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. iii. Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. iv. Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala or Calicut Universities. Note: In addition to the above qualifications, as per G.O.(MS) No. 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019, BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main Degree awarded or recognized by Universities in Kerala is also accepted. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET-IV) for this post. Exemption: Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the relevant subject are exempted from KTET (G.O.(P) No. 145/16/G.Edn dated 30.08.2016, G.O.(P) No. 206/16/G.Edn dated 08.12.2016). Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET Category IV (G.O.(P) No. 109/2022/GEDN dated 24.06.2022).

1. Applications must be submitted online via www.keralapsc.gov.in. 2. Candidates belonging to communities other than the one specified in the notification will be rejected without notice. 3. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district. 4. Candidates should apply to only one district. 5. Candidates must produce original documents for verification when required. 6. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a(ii) is applicable. 7. Candidates must confirm their participation in the written/OMR/online test through their One Time Registration profile.
