18-29. Candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) in part II of General conditions). Note: Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste Converted to Christian Community, who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents ie. candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2003 are eligible to apply for this post (both dates included) and their age limit is 18-31. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Para(2) of the General Conditions, except Para 2(i), under Part II of this notification.)

(a) Educational: Pass in HSE examination (Plus Two) or its equivalent Note: (i) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS & SSR is applicable. (ii) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the relevant Government order to prove the claim at the time of One Time Verification or as required by the Commission. (b) Physical Qualifications: (i) Height : A minimum of 157cm. (ii) Eye Sight: Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. Vision Right Eye (a) Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (b) Near Vision 0.5 Snellen Note: (i) Each eye must have a full field of vision. Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye will be deemed to be a disqualification. (ii) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. (c) Must qualify in any five events out of eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency, One Star Standard Test. If accidents or injuries happen to a candidate while participating in the physical efficiency test, she will not be given further chance to participate in the test. The candidates should produce at the time of physical efficiency test, a Medical Certificate in original in the form prescribed hereunder, certifying to their physical fitness and eye sight without glasses. The Medical Certificate should be one obtained from a Medical Officer under the Government not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon/ Junior Consultant. The Medical Certificate should also be uploaded at the time of certificate verification.

Note: Male candidates and differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply in response to this notification The recruitment to the post of Woman Police Constable will only be to the Woman Police Battalion and the vacancies occurring in the districts will be filled up by transferring the officers on the basis of advice/rank seniority. (G.O.(Rt)No.1484/2017/Home dated 05.06.2017.) i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. ii) In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the applications and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification iii) The above vacancies are now in existence. Ranked list will be prepared for each community in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List published as per this notification shall remain in force for a period of one year from the date of publication of Ranked List or until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published from the post as detailed below, whichever is earlier.
