Direct Recruitment (from among candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes only). Applications of candidates other than that of Scheduled Tribes will be rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be issued to such applicants.

18-42; Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions) [For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions except para 2 (i)]. Note:- The Village Extension Officers who have been selected and have undergone the Degree Course in Agriculture Science and obtained the Degree from Kerala Agricultural University will be eligible to get age relaxation in upper age limit upto 45 years for direct recruitment to the post of Agricultural Officer.

B.Sc Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture awarded by Kerala Agricultural University or Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from any other University recognized by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Note: 1. Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture but not having basic degree in Agriculture/Horticulture will be ineligible to apply for the post. 2. The Degree awarded by the Colleges/Universities should be after the course of study having 10+2+4 pattern prescribed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. 3. Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' scheme through the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in for applying for the post. Those who have already registered can apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link to apply for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and print the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Applications will be summarily rejected if non compliance with the provisions of the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove Qualifications, experience, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
