20-37. Only candidates born between 01/01/2004 and 02/01/1987 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities. BSc. Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture of a recognized University. (G.O.(P) No.3/2021/AGRI Dt. 12/02/2021.

1) Vacancies reported for the posts of Seed Analyst and Technical Assistant in Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Department, will also be advised from the Ranked List prepared as per this notification. 2) Rule 10a(II) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. 3) Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture but not having basic degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture will be ineligible to apply for the post. 4) The degree awarded by the Colleges/ Universities should be after the course of study having 10+2+4 pattern/Integrated PG prescribed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. 5) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. 6) 4% of the vacancies shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates as per G.O.(P)No.5/2023/SJD dated 01/10/2023.
